Our Canadian Award winning program is designed to teach the application and modeling of critical thinking in small and boutique groups. It was developed and implemented based on the clientele’s needs and desires for their children to succeed in the real world of challenges and competitiveness.

• Quality classes •

This is a unique multi-level math enrichment program that has been developed and implemented to help students build their self-confidence and mathematical maturity competence while approaching the following, but not limited to complex logic problems, algebra, and geometry with multidirectional approaches in finding the solutions.

The levels are described as PI's (starting from PI2 all the way to PI11) that usually cover higher school grade levels, but with the out-the-box logical strategies.

The idea behind PI of Knowledge Academy programs is to prepare students to learn both independently and in teams, prioritize tasks while gathering information, and most importantly understand the structuralism of data information, action that needs to be taken to solve the problem, and outcome process while checking outputs vs. inputs for any given problem.

The PI name identifies the limitless ability to find the solution in a most efficient way that the student's mind can give and absorb.

Programs

This is a unique program that consists of 10 Math PI levels that has been designed not only for gifted and talented students (grades 2-12), but also, specifically, for students who are willing to explore and learn the mathematical world of critical and abstract thinking and logic. Moreover, those programs help students building and forming self-confidence while approaching problems, where 360-degree approach is required. There are also technological tools that used in class-teaching settings to encourage students to learn, communicate and explore their limits and failures.

Students will learn how to be successful by self-assessing their own strengths and weaknesses, and working hard to improve and succeed.

 

Learning Environment

It is true that many parents believe that the students' success comes from their teacher's approach and explanations. The better the teacher is the better the education is. It is true, but partially only as the overall success of the students' performance primarily depends on the environment the students learning in. We learned that small classes with the OPTIMAL size ( 3-10 students per class) tend to lead to higher performance factor for the students to succeed. It creates the perfect balance of communication and knowledge transfer. Moreover, our classes are built upon certain criteria, where students face challenges that other students raise, thus, making every student involved in discussions, arguments and debates in the class. Thus, once the teacher starts the discussion, and then pauses for some time, the students roll out the ideas and question each other, and then move the idea among each student. At this point in time, students learn how to defend their opinion in classroom settings by clearly explaining their reasoning behind their chosen path to problem solving.

Thus, every class we teach is practically unique in terms of knowledge transfer and the mathematical approach provided to all our students. Government Regulations

“In Canada, parents have to make sure their children get an education. Provincial and territorial governments set up and run their own school systems. They’re much the same across Canada, but there are some differences among provinces and territories. The PI of Knowledge Academy does not provide credits to their students like other Ontario schools do, but instead helps them concentrating on boosting their knowledge and self-esteem before entering University or College. Thus, students are well prepared for challenges they face at the University Level such as learning under pressure, apply selective reading comprehension strategies, and digest the most information within the least amount of time. Therefore, students learn to be directive, confident, and organized.
